HVAC SERVICE ENGINEER

We are looking for a dedicated and technically inclined HVAC Service Engineer to join our Service & Maintenance team. The candidate will be responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and supporting the installation and commissioning of HVAC systems. Freshers will receive hands-on training, while experienced candidates will independently manage service activities and customer interactions.

Key Responsibilities Service & Maintenance * Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of HVAC systems. * Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC equipment. * Carry out servicing of Split ACs, Ductable Units, VRF/VRV Systems, AHUs, FCUs, Chillers, Package Units, and Ventilation Systems. * Ensure timely completion of assigned service jobs and maintenance schedules. * Monitor system performance and recommend corrective actions. Installation & Commissioning Support * Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC equipment. * Verify system operation and performance parameters. * Support project teams during handover and commissioning activities. Customer Service * Attend customer complaints and service requests promptly. * Maintain professional communication with customers during service visits. * Provide technical explanations and recommendations to customers when required. * Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through quality service delivery. Documentation & Reporting * Prepare service reports and maintenance records after every site visit. * Record equipment operating parameters and observations. * Update service logs, job cards, and customer records. * Submit daily activity reports to supervisors. Safety & Compliance * Follow company safety policies and site safety requirements. * Use proper PPE and ensure safe handling of tools and equipment. * Comply with customer site regulations and statutory requirements. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) * Service response time. * Closure of assigned service calls. * First-time fault resolution rate. * Customer satisfaction. * AMC maintenance compliance. * Quality and accuracy of service reports. * Safety compliance.

Educational Qualification * Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or related discipline. * Freshers are encouraged to apply. ⸻ Skills Required * Basic understanding of HVAC and Refrigeration systems. * Knowledge of electrical and mechanical components. * Ability to read technical drawings and equipment manuals. * Good troubleshooting and analytical skills. * Strong communication and customer-handling abilities. * Proficiency in MS Office for reporting purposes. * Willingness to travel to customer sites. ⸻ Additional Responsibilities for Candidates with 1+ Years Experience * Independently handle preventive and breakdown maintenance activities. * Diagnose and rectify complex HVAC system faults. * Manage AMC sites and ensure contract compliance. * Coordinate with customers for maintenance planning and shutdown schedules. * Recommend spare parts and prepare service-related technical reports. * Support junior technicians and fresh engineers in troubleshooting activities. * Participate in AMC renewals and identify service business opportunities. ⸻ Experience Levels Fresher (0–1 Year) * Assist senior engineers and technicians in service activities. * Learn HVAC equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting techniques. * Focus on technical skill development and customer service practices. Experienced (1+ Year) * Independently execute service assignments. * Handle customer interactions and technical problem resolution. * Manage AMC and breakdown service calls with minimal supervision.
